Memento mori, made modern. Labradorite is carved into a skull and mounted on a hat pin, a darkly beautiful finishing touch for a hat, lapel or scarf.

Labradorite is known for its labradorescence, flashes of blue and gold that appear and vanish as the stone moves.

Made by hand in our Los Angeles studio from hand-selected natural stones, this is a true one-of-one. Its stones, setting and finish exist in this exact form only once.

Care

Put your jewelry on last, after lotion, perfume and hairspray, and take it off first.
Remove before showering, swimming, exercising or cleaning. Chlorine, salt water and sweat dull metal and stones.
Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time. Restore its brightness with a silver polishing cloth.
Use the pin clutch to secure the pin, and push it through fabric gently rather than forcing it.
Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
Store it in its presentation box, in a cool, dry place, to prevent scratches and tarnish.
