Jewelry Sizing Guide
Ring sizing
For the most accurate fit, measure a ring that already fits the intended finger. Measure the inside diameter straight across the center in millimeters and compare it with the chart below.
| US size | Inside diameter | Inside circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 4 | 14.9 mm | 46.8 mm |
| 5 | 15.7 mm | 49.3 mm |
| 6 | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm |
| 7 | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm |
| 8 | 18.1 mm | 57.0 mm |
| 9 | 18.9 mm | 59.5 mm |
| 10 | 19.8 mm | 62.1 mm |
Printable ring check
Print this page at 100% / Actual Size. Do not use “Fit to page.” Before using the circles, confirm the line below measures exactly 50 mm with a ruler.
Place a ring you already own over the circles. Match the inside edge of the ring to the printed circle. Do not measure the outside of the band.
Measuring your finger
Measure near the end of the day when your hands are at a normal temperature. Wrap a narrow strip of paper around the base of the finger without pulling it tight, mark where the ends meet, then measure that length in millimeters. Compare the result with the circumference column. If you fall between sizes, choose the larger size for wider bands.
Necklace length
Necklace length is the end-to-end chain length before fastening. Common placements vary by body and neckline:
- 14 in — close to the neck.
- 16 in — short necklace / collarbone area.
- 18 in — classic everyday length.
- 20 in — below the collarbone.
- 22 in — longer layering length.
For a precise comparison, measure a necklace you already wear and like.
Bracelet length
Wrap a flexible tape around the wrist where you want the bracelet to sit. Add approximately 1/4 inch for a close fit, 1/2 inch for a comfortable fit, or 3/4 inch for a looser fit. Link size and bracelet construction can change how a bracelet feels, so contact the studio if you are between sizes.
