Boulder opal forms in thin veins within ironstone in the opal fields of Queensland, Australia, so the stone carries flashes of electric color against its own natural host rock. No two are remotely alike.

Made by hand in our Los Angeles studio from a hand-selected natural stone, this is a true one-of-one. Its stone, setting and finish exist in this exact form only once.

Care

• Put your jewelry on last, after lotion, perfume and hairspray, and take it off first.
• Remove before showering, swimming, exercising or cleaning. Chlorine, salt water and sweat dull metal and stones.
• Clean with a soft, dry cloth; a silver polishing cloth can be used on the sterling setting, kept away from the opal.
• Opal is delicate. Avoid prolonged water exposure, harsh chemicals and sudden temperature changes.
• Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
• Store it in its presentation box, in a cool, dry place, to prevent scratches and tarnish.
