Raw fossilized pyrite against polished Australian opal, set asymmetrically in oxidized sterling silver.

The minimal setting lets the contrast do the work: the metallic, mineral texture of the pyrite and the soft, moving color of the opal. Adjustable to fit most fingers.

Handmade in our Los Angeles studio. This is a one-of-one piece: the stones are natural and the setting was built around them, so it will not be made again exactly like this.

Care

• Put your jewelry on last, after lotion, perfume and hairspray, and take it off first.
• Remove before showering, swimming, exercising or cleaning. Chlorine, salt water and sweat dull metal and stones.
• The darkened finish is intentional. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and avoid polishing cloths and silver dips, which lift the oxidized finish.
• Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
• Store each piece separately in a lined jewelry box, in a cool, dry place, to prevent scratches and tarnish.
